Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
This policy explains what SealClaim collects, why, and what you can do about it. By using SealClaim you agree to it.
What we collect
- Calls you seal — the text, your optional display name, an optional stake, the unlock date, and any attachment. Calls you make public are visible to anyone with the link.
- Account details — if you sign up, your email and display name.
- Reminder emails — any email you submit to be notified when a call unlocks.
- Sides and verdicts — names and comments you add when you back, bet against, or vote on a call.
- Technical data — your IP address (used to prevent spam and abuse) and cookies (a login session cookie, and an anonymous identifier so each device gets one verdict vote per call).
How we use it
To run the service: store and reveal sealed calls, send the reminders you ask for, maintain track records, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data.
Public content
If you make a call public, its text, stake, attachment, and result can be seen by anyone with the link and may appear on a public profile. Please don't seal sensitive personal information, your own or anyone else's.
Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run SealClaim (such as our hosting and, when enabled, our payment processor), and where required by law.
Retention & your rights
We keep your data while your calls and account are active. You can request access to, or deletion of, your data by emailing us at the address below.
Children
SealClaim is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above when we do.
